Apparently, Facebook has more users in the UK than anywhere else. London is the largest network on the site, with over 800 thousand members. It does seem like all my myspace buddies are jumping ship. I heartily applaud this - myspace has, after all, pretty much turned into a music marketing pest site. And yes I guess Southern is just as guilty (if not quite as adept) as the next label/band/DJ/promoter/etc. Anyway, I was chuffed as punch to read a great article about how to rationalise spending office-time on the 'Book. Apparently there are dozens of fabulous productivity tools available as Facebook apps!
I will be test driving some of these over the next few weeks.
